Post by: Johnny_tro on December 26, 2010, 02:59:23 pm
Looking for a simple remap/chip mod - lots of adverts about....better bhp better fuel bla bla bla.

I wouldn't buy one of the chips off eBay, all they do is over fuel your car and cause your temp sender to die, if you want more power then can a professional remap from somewhere like AMD. I've been talking to them about doing my car and they say I could see gains of 40bhp.

They remapped my Leon tdi last year and it was fantastic.

We supply a custom map inc dyno testing and datalogging that gives a reliable 180-190bhp and 310ft/lb without any smoke for £299. My own gttdi mk5 made 330ft/lb and 188bhp with one of our maps.

We do loads of upgrades for this engine, including stage 3 conversions that see 230-260hp and 380-400ft/lb so theres plenty of future modding potential.

id also recommend shark performance.  He has a huge customer base on briskoda when it comes to remaps (like REVO on this forum) and has nothing but excellent feedback.
