Hey folks,
4 Questions regarding RCD510/RNS510
1) When playing from the SD card, does playback resume from the same song before it was powered off when you turn it back on? Do you have to select SD card everytime you switch it on? Or does it remember what you last used (ie radio, SD etc).
2) Is there a 'random' song facility to use when using SD card as a playback device?
3) What would be the CHEAPEST way to fit an iPod to this headunit (keep the iPod in the glovebox) so it displays track names and charges the iPod etc, is it the full MDI kit I need? (£150?)
4) Does anyone have a definitive guide to fitting an amp to these head units? I've searched but not found the answer... I already have just a small 8" active sub/amp in the boot wired in, so I will just need the pre-outs and remote on cable to fit to the RCD or RNS (most likely an RCD510).

Question one, on my RNS510 when playing from the SD card it resumes from where it finished
Question two, I'm sure there is a mix option
Question three, I think the MDI would be best, but expensive
cant help with the other, but can say the standard set up is good with the RNS

1 - It resumes from where it left off, and you don't have to select it each time
