Yes I dilute it, usually 250ml then top up with water.  You can use it neat at which point its good for -70 Deg C.

How do you know how much to dilute it by? Is there a guide somewhere?

If it's genuine VW screenwash, it states on the label.

I tend to use one bottle of screenwash and then two bottles of water.

I tend to use about 250ml of VWSW and then top up with water... should be fine unless its stupidly cold!

A week or so ago i used it neat as it was so cold, but its warmed up a lot now

Ahh I think i've worked it out from the label, I presume the water drop means the ratio?

If you keep a spare bottle, for normal use put 250ml of ScreenWash in the bottom and top up to 1 Ltr.  If it's really cold use 500ml.  :happy2:

This stuff is cheap enough from the dealer so why go anywhere else?

Theres some on ebay at the moment... £14.99 for 10x1L bottles! BUT £13.99 for postages so not much cheaper than driving to VW yourself!

Yeah he's hiked it up from £8.99 for a case of 10 to £14.99 plus the postage, I mailed him to see if he would do it at the £8.99 price, "wouldn't be for a while " was his reply...feck him, I'll hang on.   :signLOL:

The postage is the killer.  I guess he relies on people not checking the dealer price and assuming they'll be getting ripped off by going to a dealer.

I bought some from him at the cheaper price , my nearest dealer is 110 miles round trip away , so the postage is cheaper than the petrol!  :happy2:

I am amazed at that price thats 89p a litre I get it trade and its no where near that cheap but he's getting a mark up on postage I could post for half that I am sure. There are fake OEM stuff on the market, not saying his stuff is but I wouldn't mind his supplier lol.

Keith... i doubt he buys it for that cheap...his profit is created through the ludicrous postage charge!

I bet he wont let you pick 10 up from his doorstep!  :signLOL:

I dont know if this stuff is fake . but there are no dilution details on any of the bottles i have , I've been using it neat! The part number on the bottle is G 052 164 M2 and it is described as Windscreen Clear Concentrate.

Ahh now I have just noticed you peel the label back to get the details lol , will I have done any damage using this neat for a bottle and a half??   :surprised:

The bottles are not sealed from VW how do you know he's not bottling cheapo supermarket stuff up into used bottles from maybe a vw service depo????

Could be easily done if he worked for any of the vw dealers :sad1:

Not wanting to put a spanner in the works but would prefer to go to the dealers than someone off eBay for this kind of stuff? now if it was G12++ coolant which has a sealed cap then fair do's

Thats the first thing I thought of when I opened the box up - dont think I will take a chance on this again , even if the stuff seems to be the genuine article with the 'Lemony' smell it's supposed to have,
