Title: IPOD won't play through MFD2 ?

I've got an MFD2 and the USB port in the arm rest it plays usb memory sticks but doesn't seem to play my ipod. Am I being stupid here or do I have to have a special lead or something ?

It wont work with an ipod/iphone

I installed a 3.5mm aux in to do me until i get a RNS510
