Title: Flu....
Post by: markc on January 02, 2011, 12:24:16 am: Anyone else had the bloody flu this Xmas ? I got it on the 22nd dec and couldn't leave the house for 4 days, then got a chest infection. Great. I'm just about half ok now, I hope nobody else has had their Xmas ruined with it !

Then woke up on 29th and it has returned with avengance :sad1: Need to try and get back to the doc's ASAP..

Post by: stealthwolf on January 02, 2011, 03:57:02 am: No. I had the flu injection about two months ago. Had the sniffles at one point but that's it. Everyone else I know who didn't bother got the flu and got it hard.

Hope you get better quickly mate. Man-flu is okay but proper 'flu is horrendous.

The missus wasnt having it though, tried explaining i had multple illness's and she just couldnt understand.

I self diagnosed as having Man-flu, Man-injitus, man-laria

Post by: JPC on January 03, 2011, 06:29:09 pm: I got the flu jab last week. I get a letter from the nhs every year (like pensioners) as I'm high risk apparently. I should have taken them up on it years ago. This spate has been the worst one ive had for a long time!
