Don't get a carbinio! Utter pish imo.
Might aswell throw £100 ++ onto a fire. Get an ITG!!!!!!

-
Well that will cos me a little more then...haha...
Might have to wait a bit anyway!!

well well wellllll worth it. :happy2: it's the best thing I've ever bought for the Eddy....
well apart from the map. oh. and the springs. oh and the.....
-
Never ending game,, was the same with my last golf (mk4) and more recent Audi A4....
Wanted to leave the gti pretty standard standard...
-
as said, carbonio is just like the std filter, just a little nicer to look at, wait for your next pay cheque and go with a proper intake, :happy2:
-
Forge Twintake FTW :jumping:
-
forge twintake or an itg wot would ues guy pick i cant decide
-
Having just bought the BDM kit. ( amost identicle to the ITG, but with a bigger filter) - I'm extremely impressed.
But if i had to buy again. Purely for cosmetic reasons, and the fact that RedRobbin ( ) has hammered images of it into my brain since the day i joined the forum. - I'd probably go for the TwinTake

....Not intentionally!
There's not a lot to choose from between the Twintake and the ITG and BDM now seems a good additional contender.
Check out the various reviews in that section of the site and see which of these considerations suit you best:
- Performance
- Standard of manufacture
- Ease of maintenance
- Sound
- Appearance aka 'Eye-Candy'
- Price

ITG, forge, they're all the same
Go with ITG because it's the one I bought! (and I had a Carbonio, years ago!)
-
Tell me about it! I've tallied up what I've spent since getting the car about 5 months ago and shocked to learn I've spent about 2.5k! :stupid: and I've not even started on the engine yet!

....I dare not tally mine up but reckon I could buy a new RS3 for the same money including the £25k original cost of my red chariot. And I'm still spending! But.. Over 5 years on, I love every single mile I drive and still turn to admire after parking.
