Post by: GOLDENBOY on January 09, 2011, 05:47:50 pm
Gave the car much needed clean today after weeks crappy weather, sorry for poor photos they was taken almost in the dark!!! :scared: Recently had it colour coded,  30 edition rear bumper, lights,  votex splitter, H&R springs, rear factory tints.

Sits at the perfect height, good work dude.

I like the Rear bumper, nice touch. I've just had mine colour coded leaving the exhaust diffuser plastic black or I'd have done the same as you

Wow, looks really nice, am a big fan of grey on the Mk5's! Love the votex front splitter and as mentioned by others the ride height is perfect. Any plans in the engine department?

Looks amazing mate,
Really wishing I had a votex splitter now (managed to snag a cheap ED30 one though)
Did Chase automotive do the coding for you? How much did they ask for it,and did you get them to fit it for you?
Finally, is that in the Reans where the pic was taken?
Look out for your car when i'm on shift, but not seen it yet?!

There's no way I'd have anything but Monza 2s on that car, they look great.

Thanks again for comments, the votex splitter makes the car so much more aggressive than your standard gti splitter, just wonder how long going to last looking mint?? stone chips etc :sad1:. wouldnt mind set bbs alloys for spring, keep the monzas for winter. Im looking to get ,upgraded  air intake can anybody recommend me one that aint just eye candy improves performance and still keep engine cover on.

Forge twintake gets my vote every time
Do what I am doing, and get the engine cover chopped and then colour coded. will look great eye candy and function nicely,
Taking my splitter and engine cover to be coded tomorrow I hope so can show you what it looks like.

Doing mine slightly different. Have cut the duct off the side and back, smoothed the sides and corners and then fillered the gap to the side. About an hours work.
