Title: Front disc retaining bolt
Post by: flyboy1976 on January 12, 2011, 08:19:16 am
hi chaps, does anyone know if this screw/bolt that retains the disc to the hub on mk5 gti is a philips head or a torx T35 as listed in this guide below.....  and does the caliper use a standard 7mm brake tool for splitting the caliper to mounting bracket.

http://www.tyrolsport.com/index.php?p=page&page_id=tech_new&pg=tech-performance/techstep-big-brake-mk5

( I dont have a T35 bit ,hence the question)

Thanks in advance  :happy2:

It is a T35 (I did my Brakes with vRStu recently)

Im not sure on the brake tool though as i already had the R32 kit on and on that it's just 2 Huuuuuuge bolts
