Went to Chamonix just before Christmas. It was the first time I've been so early in the season and was very quiet. Decent skiing though.

did argentina and jackson hole last year, got chillie booked for summer time, might do canada in march time. hardcore boarder here, been doing it since i was 11, now 24. :party:

Sweet... jackson hole looks really really good fun!
We are going to Austria on saturday... to Zell am See. Its a beautiful little place, we went in summer last year.
So excited now :jumping:

You took the free bus to Kaprun? I found the pistes better
than Zell tbh :happy2:

Also have you found the video shop nr the station with the
secret seedy back room lmao :laugh:

Funnily enough we go to my parents place in Chamonix more in the Summer than in the Winter! It's the beauty of a dual season resort I suppose. I've been to some places in Switzerland in the Summer and they've been like ghost towns.

of Kupferkessel pizza restaurant(one with the funny pizza

Normal video shop until you venture behind the curtain doorway,

Was heading to Chamonix February,but cancelled due to 3 weeks in Tahoe this coming Xmas.. Stoked.
Upside is,heading to the Cairngorms this friday for some boarding action,apparently some of the younger element are banging on about something called,"Sweet cherry cherry pow pow"... <shrugs> :signLOL:

Yup, two boarding trips booked for me!!! 8 days in March to Alpe D'Huez, with 7 other guys. And then back there again on the 7th April for a 4 day trip with a couple of my mates, in one of my VW California's.
Cant wait, just don't want any accidents this time. Broke my leg in the board park last year!

^^^^ that's the idea. Not so much as burn the candle at both ends but chuck it in the fire.
An intense week ahead. Bring it on! Tbh I'd forego any summer holiday for my ski week any time. Love it, have only missed two weeks in the past 18 years. One I had a broken shoulder and two my daughter was born right in middle of ski season. (bad planning) :signLOL:

I just spent all day today at the Snow Centre in Hemel and learnt to snowboard.... i think i'm a convert!!

Just spent 2 weeks in Vail Colorado, absolutely awesome skiing and a really good resort, with Lionshead down the road equally as nice as vail, Beaver Creek about 20 mins drive also excellent resort snow wasnt as good whilst I was there as it's lower in altitude than the two mentioned above.
Highly recommend this place been to most of Europe as been skiing since I could walk :smiley: and this tops the lot for amount of skiing, variety of different runs, and the vast amount of tree skiing is just unreal, if anyone gets the opportunity to go, do so!! Only possible downside is that its a long flight away but flying doesn't bother me :happy2:

Got back from Alpe d'Huez last weekend after a week of skiing, absolutely brilliant time, group of 16.
Conditions were very good, 1st time I've been there, but it has something there for everyone, a good range of slopes for all abilities and a very good night life so you can ski hard and party hard! Nothing like a blast of mountain air in the morning to clear a hangover!!

Not long back from Cairngorm... The saturday they shut the top section due to high winds so boarded Lecht.. Sunday Cairngorm never even opened... :sad1:

I got back from there on Staurday, had a great time, amazing weather but snow was not the best which was a shame, still had an awesome time though and would recommend to others!
