Hi Folks,
wonder if anybody can help. I basically caught the kerb whilst reversing in the snow a few weeks ago and the exhaust surround trim has become detached. Im not sure it will go back on as some of the retaining clips have broken.
Ive tried enquiring at the dealers about the part but they can only find the rear spoiler for the Edition 30. I just need the small bit of trim that is closest to the exhaust tips.
The pic is from another forum and its the bit called "exhaust surround" that i need (plus the retaining part which sits on the inside)

does anybody have a part number please?
Thanks guys
Rich

Could you not just glue it on if it's still in good condition?

x2?.

Yes glue it back on if it is in good condition..also if you can get the part you will have to have it painted etc.

i dont even know why i didnt think of that. Because it originally has a retaining piece, i just assumed that that was the only way it could go on. Guess i was trying to over think the solution!

There are also motorbike fairing repair companies that specialise in repairing automotive plastics. It may be worth looking one up unless you have a tame local bodyshop. If all else fails, I have just such a tame bodyshop; I'd be happy to get their advice if you need it. Just pm me.

I also think glue it on, or use some fibreglass type repair kit (bumper flex type) which may hold it better
