Title: 5 door drivers side door pull
Post by: markevo6 on January 14, 2011, 03:12:02 pm

Hi ,

This info is probably somewhere in the forums but Ive spent ages looking and coudn't find it so thought I would ask - don't flame me for being lazy please.

Right , I decided like a few others to change my light switch , mirror switch and window switches over to the chrome ones , and after looking at the drivers side door pull thought it would be good to replace this as well . Its so scratched I can only assume a woman with loads of rings drove the car at some point  ,as it looks terrible.

Ok , so I ordered all the parts but ended up ordering the the wrong door pull one - its a 3 door pull but .... on closer inspection it looks like its made from cheap hard plastic whereas the one fitted to the car is almost rubbery in comparison - probably why its marked so much , but looks a million times better.

So question is , did I order a cheaper version door pull and when I order the 5 door one will it be the same as what is currently fitted .

Also does anyone know the correct part number.

I hope some of that makes some sense and sorry to ramble on.

Cheeers Mark

My motor had the same problem. The steering wheel and gearstick were also battered. I ordered a 5 door one of ebay and think it came from Lithuania, cost only about £16 and is a like for like swap.
