this months redline
guess hes finally sorted the hybrid issues out.
Also whats going on with the intake and the two outgoings hoses from the filter. Wheres the bottom hose going? if its going to join the gold piping then whats the point? maybe a second turbo somewhere.....

Congrats Jabba, excellent reading, looking forward to seeing the article in paper edition :happy2:
-
That's a Twintake with one mahooosive filter
-
Nice feature Luke.. :congrats: Shame it's on it's winter wheels, as it looks even better on the 1.2's.. TRACK ATTACK!
-
Dream car is a Q7?! Is he mad?
-
Great feature :happy2. What sort of torque figures are you seeing?
-
:congrats: Great article and car there!

Only just seen this thread,
Thanks everyone, I didnt actually see the magazine till last night...
It is indeed the Twintake piping with one of our twin inlet filters, I have found its helped quite alot as the little forge filters were just too small! the sound now is unbelievable too... it sounds like a rally car with all the chattering
The reason for putting it on the winter wheels is because its having quite alot done as we speak and redline have already requested to have first dibs of it as soon as its done! so then it will be on its wider wheels/arches and have a hell of alot more poke too! :happy2:
Torque at the min is 375 lbft was mainly limited to save the clutches, but that shoudnt be an issue in a couple of months time
-
Mmmmm... Interesting... :popcornsoda:
-
Congrats on the article, the car looks like quite a weapon!

I had to change the software in the end, REVO wearnt interested at all so we moved to a better software that doesnt have the restrictions,
They tryed to say that the Stage 2 DSG software hasnt been put on a car with a K04 before and they wouldnt recommend it as it wouldnt be needed on a K04 (but still woudlnt let me try it anyway knowing that it might not be as nice to drive), to which my reply was "i hope Jonny C, Hurdy and so on didnt get ripped off with paying for stage 2 and having stage 1 installed..." i didnt get a reply to that tho :innocent:

its probably because your a tuner in direct competition with them i guess. What software are you using now? is it GIAC, i also hear P-torque have DSG software now as well
