Whilst recently visiting the master of copper spagetti (Darren) he found that my alarm siren was not working (VCDS indicated no communication). The indicators flash but no sound. I had the wheel arch liner off today to investigate. After drilling out the rivets that hold the horn carrier (PITA) I found that all was plugged in and appeared fine.
Having checked all the fuses, is there anything else to check before I buy a new alarm horn? Any idea on how much these are?
