Title: Colour codeing
Post by: mattypgolf on January 18, 2011, 11:28:13 am
I really need to get on and get the colour coding done now as ive nearly had the car 3 weeks.. just keep getting distracted by other little mods...

After a good bodyshop in suffolk anyone???

got a quote of £400 for front, skirts and rear,, and he was like "well the plastic is not smooth so you will get a different finish" so was not amused as all it needs is sanding down a touch..

I paid £275 for mine, though it is in the West Midlands,
With a saving of £125 though you may be worth driving down to get it done, petrol will be half that.
£400 does sound a lot to me.

Unfortunately you can't just sand down the texture as bumper and trim plastic tends to go furry once sanded, You can loose the texture with heigh build primer or buy the non textured r32 and ed30 items

My parts were all sanded down and look fine now painted,
