Title: I have finally done it !

Yep !

Finally today my estimated mileage to tank got to 400 on fill up !

Since getting the car in march last year  I have not managed over 375 !


Sh*t topic ! But I'm well chuffed I have finally done it !

 :signLOL: good effort although it saying that and getting that is a different matter iv had it say that and then ended up haveing to fill up after 310. I average on a tank 250 to 350 if I really try...

I know for definate I won't get that as I drive "enthusiastically" but just to see 400 on the dash !

thats nothing i filled the ed30 up as the wife wanted to drive to a meeting up north and as it knows me the car said 275 miles to next fill up  :rolleye: well she drove up north did over 200miles and i got in with over half a tank still in it still said 275 miles left in the tank   :stupid:

It must have sensors in the seat to know who's in it and adjusts the fuel consumption accordingly

You dont buy a GTI to get 400 miles to a tank  :stupid:

I get any where between 270 to 350 per tank

i have had 400 before, required some very boring driving.
i live in woking but often travel up to york. i can almost get there and back on one tank which is 440 mile round trip.
