I saw a petrol powered Mk5 VW Caddy recently. It had the latest TSI 2.0 turbo'd engine too. Lefthand drive, I can't say more.
-
The newer sportline caddys are lovely, you can also get a dsg caddy diesel, but hard to find.

When one door closes another opens Keith! :happy2:

@ Keith:
Shouldn't this thread be titled "She's gone!" rather than "It's gone"?

They're more than just machines, but it's as Greeners says.

I sold my oem GTI Interlagos front seats to a friend with a modded Caddy when I bought my Recaro's. They look great in a Steel Grey Caddy. I expect they can be sourced on eBay etc or in the Wanted section here (a more reliable source usually).

Well after the ferrari fighter left the fold I had to get my skates on as I had no transport and was having no luck finding a suitable caddy in scotland so I had to venture across the border, Autotrader turned up two likely vans only thing i was fussed about was 2.tdi 104ps, good nick, elec windows and serv history.
First up was a trip to Lancashire to view a white one 97k but pics looked good and the dealer bigged it up. Got there and big chip on the bonnet thru to metal, two front tyres needed replaced, air con wasn't working prop, clutch was a bit iffy and heating fan only worked on 3&4 so told him it wasn't for me and feeling a bit peeved that I travelled that distance for it i left for the motorway home, then I thought I would try my luck on the way up in Northallerton. Glad i did, owned by a small engineering company that did engine rebuilds they had a silver 51k full serv history, owned from new almost mint, elec pack as well as used once towbar, big vw fans it became apparent the owner looked after it well with regular oil changes with proper vw oil, new cambelt done recently as well, so deal done i hopped on the train on friday and brought it back up the road, far better to drive this home than the wifes mini cooper the night before.
Now a word of warning to those who want to mod a van, it isnt cheap for insurance Highway for a 310bhp golf ed30 with mods - £529, highway for modded tdi van 104ps to 140ps map, bbs alloys touran bumper, air filter - £579 less than half the performance and value but dearer
Anyways here some pics, modding is under way with some bits in the pipeline
