Title: Child cars seats
Post by: Top Cat on January 24, 2011, 10:37:33 pm
Anyone know of a child seat that has a very narrow base at the bottom. It needs to fit inside the bolsters of my recaro's Nearly all the ones i have checked look to big and i cant get specific spec for the bases on websites.
This would help, as i am starting to get worried that my son will damage the inner wheel arch of the boot if i continue to travel with him in their.

I Could not find any child seats that were narrow enough at the bottom to fit in the recaro`s when i had mine.
When i put anormal one in the front it would leave an indent in the leather for a couple of days then would go , so only did it once
So i think it will still be the Boot for him

I'm pretty sure i've read somewhere about a childseat made to fit in a bucketseat, believe it was Porsche, (who else  )
I'll try and find it  :happy2:

My son is now one, so up to the age of 4 i am guessing. The seat that came with the pram fits fine but he is getting to big for this now.  Also this is just an occasional seat, we have a full size one in the other car but it would be a lot of hassle swapping over and it looks like the base is a  bit to wide.   :happy2:

Do you want the seat forward or rearward facing?  Is it too much hasstle to have the seat in the back of the car?

I would fit him in the back if i could get him and the seat in their. Them recaro's are not for moving.  :rolleye:

All seats fit but they are pushing on the bolsters which causes a pain in my heart.  :sad1:
