Looking to replace my front and rear discs and pads soon, and was just going to replace them with original VAG parts, but after a quick look around I've found this company in Northern Ireland that do drilled/dimpled/grooved (whatever combo you want) discs for a very good price.
Has anyone bought discs from them? I'm always wary about fitting non-genuine parts, especially my brakes!!

....That bit worries me. It sounds like they are only thinking about the discs in terms of what they look like and not how well they work or will last.

Has anyone fitted discs from this company?

I fitted a pair of front grooved discs to my old MK2 VR6 and they were fine and coped with some abuse too!
-
I have grooved discs front and back on my ed30 stage 2 and there working a treat. Have a look in my build thread (search dan648v) and you'll see them on the last page fella. Good quality discs and lasting well on all cars
My girlfriend also uses them on her dc5 integra type r and a friend on his ep3 type r.

I'd stick with stock discs. Drilled discs are more liable to cracking and pad material usually stuffs the holes anyway, and grooved are noiser under braking.
-
I got front discs from m tech (grooved and dimpled) and they have been fine
There is a bit of noise when breaking due to the grooves but you get used to it

Does anyone know will these MTEC discs fit with the standard calipers and pads (complete newbie here :ashamed: )? Just looking for a direct replacement for the standard ones as they need replacing. The link below shows different diameter discs. Anyone know which ones are the "standard" size? Thanks in advance!

I've got dimpled and grooved front and back from them and they've been fine. Not sure how they'd hold up under sustained abuse but they're fine for day to day. Decent price as well.
-
Seem ok for the price.

No no no noooo I have S3 brakes with OEM pads and does fine actually for stopping which is suprising, Only gets spongy at prolonged use but that is probably something to do with the brake lines
