Title: Plastic connector for coilpack

Is is easy enough to change the connector that clips on to the coil pack? Part number on the connector is 4B0 973724.

Yes, but only with the correct tool.  You need to push the wiring out the back of the connector once the little purple clip/holder has been taken out.

The tool I use is made by Laser Tools, part number 3932.

Perfect thanks. We broke one today trying to get the connectors separated from the coilpack. It still clicks off and on, but the tab is not there now.

Roughly how difficult/time consuming is the job and roughly how much are the connectors?

Connectors should be around £2-3.  If you get stuck trying to get one then I have some somewhere at work.

Should only take 5 mins to change them over.  Its easy, but fliddly.

When you remove the plug off the coilpack, always pull the connector towards you, then release the little clip.  Pulling towards you will release the tension off that little clip.
