Title: Crafto's New Edition
Post by: crafto on February 02, 2011, 11:56:37 am
Well after a long wait I finally picked her up yesterday from VW Edinburgh, to say I'm happy would be an understatment. A few pics, (excuse the weather..... :fighting:)

Tornado Red ED30 - 2008
DSG
RNS510
Lux Pack
Winter Pack
Sunroof
Privacy Glass
Highline
Rear Parking Sensors
and the best bit of all it's only done 4650 miles!!! :happy2:

Already purchased MF buttons to be retro fitted soon, and I plan to fit an arm rest. After seeing pics of Toast's car I cant help but think a set of black rims would finish things off nicley.

The car lives up to all expectations and the DSG is truley an amazing peice of engineering I can't see myself ever going back to manual now. Anyway enough writing on here, I'm off for another drive.

Cheers.

Looking great, didn't  used to like Red golfs, but have seen some really nice ones lately that have swayed me.
What plans you got for it?

Looks very very nice Crafto. Very fast and loud colour with DSG must be nice  :happy2:

Jeez, you can just bang the MFSW buttons on and they're fully functional?

Lovely speck car, cant believe the original owner spent all the money on a runroof and nav system but didnt tick the arm rest option and MFSW crazy!  At least they left you the two easiest options to add  :happy2:

Pete the buttons are really that easy to fit if you have DSG the controllers are all there and the space to fit the button panels are cut out ready.  Its not so easy on a manual car!  There can also be some functionality issues if you dont have highline with the new style buttons, but to add to that the old style buttons wont work with the RNS so its all horses for courses

Ahh. Thanks Rich/Crafto.
Mines a manual so that confirms that

How much did you pay out of interest Crafto?

You realise you'll have to get Xenons as you have the HL washers
