Hi i am looking at a golf at the moment that has the recaro cloth rs4 style seats
I am just looking for your opinion on them pros/cons are they to big for a 3dr
are they a pain to let the kids in and out etc...
They do look the part
Cheers Gary

I find them very comfy but there is a technique to get in them to avoid wear on the bolsters. cant comment on practicality as i have a 5 door
-
I have the leather ones in my 5 door and the feel is great, they are so comfortable.
Though I have seen first hand how hard it would be in.a 3 door to have a child seat in the back, the bolstering stops them from folding up too much really.

How much including a trade with standard GTi seats! :P

Do you have these to trade for standard cloth or are you trying to trade your standard cloth for them :happy2:
-
Haha I was trying to do a cheeky trade haha! I love them! Really want some tbh!

I dont own the car yet but if i do buy it and dont like them you never know :happy2:
How much are they worth?
-
Don't ask him! He'll tell you £250!
I think a set went on here for £1300, they are rarer than the leather versions.
-
Sounds good but you are definitely going to fall in love with them :happy2:
For the seats on there own they tend to go for between £1200-£1600
If you do get them you have to keep them as it complements the Gti perfectly
-
Must keep that in mind when i go to test drive it on wednesday.

Its pretty obvious by the number of posts in this thread that Red robin must have got lucky at his local all you can eat for a fiver cafe. because he normally, by now has told us again about his pair, and posted all his links and pics of them.
-
The words 'cloth recaro' can usually hook a Robin from 100 miles away :rolleye:

:signLOL:
Sorry Robin, you know we  you.
-
Didn't a set go on ED38 for £700 ish with standards in return?
They are good seats and worth good money.
I will offer my interior, £50 and half eaten snickers

this thread has really had me :signLOL: but i really cant think of many draw backs with the seats, only thing is you have to take more care getting in/out of them if you want to keep them looking 100%

....No, mine were fitted personally by an internationally famous racing driver :P
He also sold them to me.. You probably know him as jonnyc.
What can I tell you folks about them that I haven't done already?
No matter how careful you are, the side bolster will collapse a small amount but it's not really a problem. Worth every £50 note
[I love y'all back... More !]
