I can do Peloquins or Quaife diffs.  Peloqiuns are doing a high torque version of the 02Q diff which is far more responsive than the Quaife offering.  Peloquins also comes with bearings and ARP bolts.

what if its DSG?

Both Peloquins and Quaife are doing DSG.  You get the correct bearings with the Peloquins, but you dont get any with the Quaife and you cant buy the bearings from VAG and Quaife cant even supply the part numbers for their DSG diff.

I can however get hold of the correct bearings from SKF.

so basically get Peloquins? what sort of cost are we talking? 1k? 2k?

The Peloquins is on their site.  I just couldnt see it.  Its under 02E.  Their suggested retail is $1350 plus postage (around $200 from them).  Pop me an email and I can give you some prices on Monday once I see what I pay for them.

Ive always had Peloquins, but have fitted both with no issues apart from Quaife's customer service.

Hi , I will also be interested in a Lsd for Dsg once I get my k03 to k04 conversion completed .

Prices for both the Quaife and Peloquin would be great as well as the installation cost.

Thanks

Mark

Wavetrac also offer a diff.

Like Mat_Ed30, I have the Quaife (DSG) and also installed by VWR.

Does anyone have a Wavetrac fitted?

I had a Quaife Diff fitted by VWR, had a few bad experiences during the fit.  Also the first diff fitted turned out to be chocolate, and clunked really badly.  It was replaced after 2k miles under the Quaife warranty.

Was great once functioning correctly.

I'm dissapointed RR, can't remember me??  :P

I have Wavetrac fitted, chose it for the ability to work under "zero" grip, for instance when one wheel is in the air. Works flawlessly for me.
If i should chose another one it would the the high torque one from Peloquin, I think it's the best built one of the 3 and you get everything included when buying (except gearbox) as opposed to the competitors.
  Peloquin :notworthy:

....Just testing to see if you were awake   :ashamed:

Wht do you like Peloquin more than your Wavetrac?

To be honest i think that Peloquin is the best due to the craftmanship put into it, and it was my first choice, that being said i liked the fact that the Wavetrac has disc in it that helps in Zero G situations and thought that someone should test it for this site

Hello mates,  :happy2:

sorry Jake, I forgot you have the WT as well.   :drinking:
Like Robin I didn't understand completely the preferences . . .

- Wavetrac with disc for zero G (ice, wheel in air)
- Peloquin and Quaife torque are sensing only
- Peloquin is best built
- Peloquin comes incl. bolt kit
- Drexler is too expensive

What about the built quaity of Wavetrac?

Hello mates,  :happy2:

sorry Jake, I forgot you have the WT as well.   :drinking:
Like Robin I didn't understand completely the preferences . . .

- Wavetrac with disc for zero G (ice, wheel in air) Viscous LSD built in as opposed to the others
- Peloquin and Quaife torque are sensing only no viscous LSD in them
- Peloquin is best built (one guy builts them one by one, no factory  just dedication)  :congrats:
- Peloquin comes incl. bolt kit When you buy the Peloquin you buy the complete kit not just a diff
- Drexler is too expensive, I have read about this and yes way to expensive for most

What about the built quaity of Wavetrac?

The Wavetrac is excellent built. I can't fault it in any way:

.
For what it's worth, when I was considering which diff to get, JKM told me they had fitted plenty of both Peloquins and Quaife (though none DSG at that time) and that they were as good as each other though the Peloquins usually noisier. I chose Quaife and that too is superbly engineered, or at least looks it! [waits for QD].
