Title: testing the water for possibly selling my gti

hello all,

as above realy, i am looking into selling my golf as due to a new job i may need a car with better mpg

what do you think its worth?

white MK5 2007 56 plate gti
35,000 miles
taxed till may
mot untill january 2012
fsh - cambelt and water pump done in december - new brake pads 500 miles ago
dsg
cruise
hid kit headlamps, full beam fitted with orasm nightbreakers, led sidelights
black 17inch oem alloys - new vreds ultrac sessantras only 1000 miles done
k & n panel filter
tinted windows - dark rears - lighter + legal fronts
jvc bluetooth head unit
body coloured bumpers
rear parking sensors
tinted rear lights
white painted front red strip
black badges front and rear - rear badge infilled with white paint - matches body work
heated seats
headlamp washers
heated washer jets

plus all the normal gti bits


perfect condition inside and out no scratches dents or marks inside

Remove the mods as that narrows your market down considerably, especially the HID headlights as most people are not keen on them. Then I'd say 12k or more as the colour is very desirable.

I'd be interested if I can get mine shifted, unless your interested in a PX for my Diesel (price dependant of course)?!

12k??? Ain't that a tad high? I bought a 05plate two years ago for little over that from a dealership with 1yr warranty and similar miles? I'm expecting no more than 9k if resale now

iv been offerd 9.5 grand for part exchange, they said itd b more if it wasnt modded so id probz b looking for around 12ish, yer i think thers only one otha candy white on auto trader in similer miles its an 08 and think its bout 14-15,000
i no i dont like the hid kit - not put on by me its the last part to be sorted out from the previos owner lol

im looking at a bmw 335d atm but we shall see if i do come to sell i shall let you no mattposs

Stealers tend to offer more in some areas and they are desperate to shift motors at the mo. Either GLWS as it seems a tidy motor
