Title: Tow eye part number

Hi Guys,

I need the part number for the Rear Tow Eye cover from the edition 30 bumper.

Its the same one as in this picture

Also how much am I looking around for one of these.

Think it's the same as the R32 one, just needs sanding and painting,
If it is then it's IK6 807 441E
If it's different then ignore me please/

Its a different shape to the R32 one. The R32 is square IIRC but the ED30 is oval.

The part number is 1C0 807 241 A GRU. It comes primed. ECS sell them but I'd say it's cheaper from a dealer.

Anyone with an Eddie able to confirm the part number for the tow eye cap as I could do with one also asap. Going to spray shop Wed and I need to get one before then.

I googled KevinMs post. All that comes up is the tow cap for beetle. Also had a closer look at the one off ECS and its posted as being for the front of VW cars however I need mine for the rear edition 30 bumper as the OP has posted in his picture.

Any info is beneficial to me also so would appreciate all help.

can you not just phone the VW parts shop and ask them for one from the name alone and they find it on the computer?

That is the correct part number. Its listed in etka for the Pirelli which has the exact same bumper as the Ed30. I know a guy that put an Ed30 bumper on his pd140 and that part number got him the right cover :happy2:

KevinM, spoke to VW and he confirms that is the correct part number. My mistake!!  :notworthy: LOL
