Title: Hi all, just recently been checking here a bit more

I lurk around on Golfgtiforum a fair bit, but decided as it seems i'm keeping the Mk5 a little longer now I might as well bob by and say hi.

Mines a standard 05 plate GTI in reflex silver...easiest to keep clean LOL! Monza II's, and not much else at the moment.  If I end up keeping this, it'll no doubt change a lot once a few bits n pieces are taken care of, but for now just enjpoying the easy relaxed style of this model, but appreciate the quick change if you fancy a blat.  Lot smoother to drive than my old CTR but not as much work around town etc.

Some very nice motors on here...still wondering if I could have stretched for a ED30 tho

Nic to see you cameto the REAL gti forum mate.
Same model as mine, silver 05. I lovethis place as there is a good helpful bunch and also a few sarcastic gita but not too many. Look forward to seeing what you do to the gti.

I'm a member on there as well but find this forum has more relevant info for the Mk5, obviously as its a Mk5 GTI forum, but also seems to be more regularly frequented.

Lots of great info on this forum, especially to help you part with your cash :happy2:
