I'm putting a ed30 splitter on this weekend as my car is being colour coded and so I'm selling my standard splitter. How much should I be looking at getting? It's in good condition apart from a few scratches underneath (high kerb!) any input would be greatly appreciated. :happy2:

I'd keep it mate then when you come to sell the car, take off the ed30 and sell that.  :happy2:

Thought about that but don't really have room for it!

-
not really worth that much as the only difference to a gt etc is the lip and they are £18 from the dealers i would say £25

-
				I think it all depends.

Someone with a black car who's own spitter is damaged will pay more for it than someone who has a red car and needs to get it sprayed.

I agree with keeping it, and putting it back on when you sell. Its worth more to you than someone else and it does'nt really take up that much room........

Some people with Jetta's fit the standard GTI splitter.
I sold my colour coded one for £110 on ebay last month, and the guy who bought it needed to code it again to his grey car.
May as well chuck it on ebay for £40 or best offer, never know.

Just bought a eddie splitter offone of our fellow members (in black) for £200 used and a mate of mine just sprayed it silver and the lip black for £30 happy days.....  :congrats:

Dealer price for a standard GTi splitter is £38.00 inc. Vat

I know after scraping mine on some ramps, too darn low & that was when on standard suspension!

 :scared:
That is a worrying thought, I used to catch mine on raised curbs, makes me even more worried now that I have the Edition 30 splitter on my motor.  :scared:
