Title: bushes, interchangeable from other vag cars

on the mk4 platform car you could use bushes from the fabia/ibiza/tt/leon to uprate the golf/bora ie leon cupra r trailing arm bushes were a solid design and better than the original.  has anybody used the bushes from the mk5 platform cars and does anybody else know if they are different throughout the range

The Audi TT and S3 are the way to go has all the front end parts e.g wishbones and hub carriers are alloy. The TT also have adjustable lower ball joints and wishbones and both have solid front wishbone rear bushes.

I have just replaced the front wishbones and hub carriers for the S3 items, the S3 not sure about the TT have a slightly wider track at the front than the golf.

Feels miles better and the difference in turn in and feel are so much sharper.

i had heard about the tt wishbone modification and is on my shopping list.

i might see if i can get my mate at tps use his parts computer to see if the rear bushes can be swapped and if there is any difference in the material
