you know the box that fits onto the front grill? well if you look at the back it has a open section, im sure ive heard of this section being blocked off!! giving better airflow

I cant imagine that it would make any difference at all.

It's only like a Carbonio. Don't bother, save for a proper intake if thats your bag.

I did it to mine the first day i got it, unfortunatly i haddnt driven it enough beforehand to notice any differnce!  :scared:

I just cut the upward facing flap out and put a foiled heatproof tape (thats all i had to hand that was sticky enough not to come off) over the lower hole to direct the air upwards!
Its bound to help as its effectively forcing the air into the intake, but i doubt it will make any sort of power increase....

Also its worth mentioning that the hole in the bottom is for rain water to escape through instead of going into the filter compartment... so just bare that in mind if you decided to do the mod  :happy2:

I did it on mine, No major difference but when i had i dyno'd it made 214bhp standard just with that and a K+N panel filter,
I know it dont mean i got 14bhp from it as i might have had a strong engine to start with but it certainly never did it any harm.

Worth while mod to do before you spend out on a proper intake IMHO
