Title: IVE LOST MY NUMBER PLATE RETENTION DOCUMENT

Hi Guys,

Ive had my plate on retention for a few yeasrs now and have now decided to put on a car .

But i cannot find it anywhere !!!!  :scared:

Is it easy to replace / do i have to pay a fee again ??

any help would be great

I would imagine a call to the DVLA will give you all the answers you seek!  :wink:

Can't imagine it will be much of a drama to get a replacement document!

i imagine it would nt be too hard to sort fella, have you tried looking in  the motoring section on Direct.gov.uk

Also have you been paying the yearly Fee to keep plate on retention?,  iirc its £25 a year

Mate just like V2BRETT has said you need to of been paying the retention fee every year otherwise they will have claimed it back from you already.
I lost my retention document, and used the reminder they send instead, you have to give a reason as to why you can not supply the document.....i said it must of got lost in the post to them after i sent it.....cough cough...... :signLOL:

Yes i have made sure that ive always paid the fees due ...
