Title: Rear Valance

I have a mk 5 golf gt tdi and was going to put an exhaust system on it but i have heard i have to buy a rear valance as it has a cut out on it.  Where can i buy these and what sort of price is in them?

i bought one from vw it was about £50

Awesome GTI sell them, but charge too much,
VW parts shop will stock them, and charge about £45 each,
Apollo has just bought one so will probably be best to give you the parts number.

Does anybody know what the part number is for a gti rear standard valance :happy2:

Sorry for butting in, but does a gti rear valence fit straight on the gt tdi 140.
And are the backbox internals the same? so it wouldnt make anymore noise, just he tips are different?

Valance fits straight on, back box is a bigger bore but can be made to fit, I have done both on my car.
