afternoon all :happy2:
Im getting some rs6 wheels for my mk5 golf so i could do with selling my alloys but i could do with a heads up on how much there worth.
Theyre 17" gti wheels, i think there replicas but im not too sure. They could really do with being re-painted because the guy who painted them before i had the car did a rubbish job, the inners of the front 2 wheels are a lighter silver and when i got the tyres changed some of the paint flaked off. No major curbing, only a tiny little bit that will easily come out with sand paper, and no buckles or vibrations. Tyres are bridgestone potenzas and are roughly 2mm all round.

How much do you think they are worth?

ahh thats not too bad then, i thought they would be worth around £100. Do people buy these or are they a wheel that no-one wants? im guessing a polo forum and ebay are my best bet? cheers

at this size you would be looking at the polo market mainly, shame theyre painted the way they are as that would have made them worth a little more.
if it were me i'd get them listed somewhere like edition38 :happy2:

Polo's are 5 x 100, these are 5 x 112. If they were 5 x 100 id ov had them for £100 :smiley:

yeah its a shame he didnt do a good job of the paint because i quite like how the fronts are with the lighter silver inner bits. Im from oldham near manchester, its a beautiful town..... :confused:

Monza 17's get bought as a winter wheel by quite a few Golf GTI folk. I sold my genuine ones without tyres for £200 IIRC. It's the wrong time of year to buy winter wheels though now. To be honest that black 'n silver colour scheme is very marmite and not to my taste. Better if either all black or all silver on a 17 imo.

Ha that is true, you dont ask you dont get., I didn't mean any offense with a cheeky offer. :innocent: They arent worth much more than that to me personally. Are you in a rush to sell them? (pm me if you would rather)
