Title: Cambelt GOLF V S3

Am I right in thinking that vw say the cambelt should be changed every 4 years or 120k on the tfsi?

I am thinking of getting an S3 and was told be Audi that the cambelt should be changed every 5 years or 75k!

Does anyone know why they are different?

Audi arent as greedy :grin:

But I recently came accross a 2004 service schedule from VW Germany that another tuner sent me that says the TFSI engine was due an inspection only at 60k or 4 years and a change at 80k or 5 years. So it seems at some point they changed their mind about the 60k/4 years inspection.
