Title: Auto-zoom on RNS510?
Post by: Simebaby on February 26, 2009, 12:01:32 am
Hi All

Just seen a mention in another post that the RNS510 has autozoom - I assume this means it zooms in at junctions when on a route?
Does anyone know how to enable / disable it, as I can't recall seeing any options when having a play with the unit.

Si

Its the little box down the right hand side bottom corner the one with the magnifiying glass with an A inside it.
To switch on Autozoom during route guidance. If "Autozoom" is active the map scale is adjusted automatically depending on the route(small scale for driving on the motorway and a large scale for driving in town). The switched on autozoom is displayed in the scale display by the magnifiying glass with an A inside it.To switch it off touch the magnifiying glass again or maually change the scale using the setting knob. :happy2:

<3 Autozoom
I miss that on COMAND and other such "premium" systems. RNS-510 blows 'em out of the water.
