Title: Remap for hybrid...........
Post by: Edition_30_P on March 02, 2011, 09:12:36 pm
Hi guys!

I've sourced a turbo to get Hybridized and, I was just wondering which companies offer a map suitable or can i run it on a standard Revo map? Do Revo offer one or GIAC?

Thanks in advance for the help  :happy2:

iirc Statler's use a giac code for their hybrid k04 car.

The standard revo map even with the sps switch won't cope properly with a hybrid turbo.

I will be trying my hybrid out with the revo stage 3 map.  As long as the actuator is the standard unit then the map should work.  If the map cant control the boost how I want it then I will run a manual boost controller.

What's a manual boost controller? Will keep my ears open to whether the Revo stage 3 copes with it!! Will also look into statlers and jabbasport too!

Manual boost controller is a standalone electronic system that allows you to control boost characteristics seperately from the ECU.

Used a lot in the jap tuning scene, often reffered to as an 'mbc'
