Any advice on this folks? Thanks, I have the standard tyres on 17 inch alloys

2.4 bar according to handbook
-
It tells you on the inside of your petrol cap and in the manual.
-
You say that, but seems everyone puts in less!! ie. mine says 2.6, yet 2.4 is popular!
-
HI, this is exactly what I dont understand, what is 2.4 bar?? I ususally use the digital tyre inflator at petrol stations, the air goes up on the display anywhere from 1 upwards. I use to put in 36 for the Vectra. So what does 2.4 bar mean on such a machine? Thanks
-
1 bar = 14.5 PSI

Thats my hole point in saying look in your manual, this is the internet anybody can type what they like. If you put in what VW advise after designing then testing, then your not going to go far wrong. :happy2:
