Title: RNS updated, now no cruise control....

It could just be a coincidence, but a few weeks ago I upgraded my RNS510 to 276X (thanks Carl). All went well with the update (on a MY08 GTI), and I was really pleased with the difference.

However, I've since noticed that my factory-fit cruise control has stopped working (well, most of the time - it's worked on a couple of occasions, but that's really random). Before I go back to the stealer, can anyone tell me if this is related to the upgrade?

It may be a faulty stalk, there was a quality issue on them.

You'd be worth having a look with VCDS.
