Title: Edition 30 cams

Sorry if this is a silly question but is the edition 30 single or twin cam ??  Always thought it was twin cam but somebody said to me they think it uses single cam ??

its twin fella,  :happy2:   the pics may confuse you though as 1 cam is belt driven and the other is driven from a chain off of the belt driven cam

Indeed  :happy2: The 2.0T FSI engine has dual overhead cams (DOHC) that are chain linked but only one pulley is driven by the cambelt like most VW engines since the 80s.

Ah that would explain it  :laugh: I changed the belt today with a mechanic friend and was confused as to there only being 1 camshaft pulley  :laugh:
