Hi, I was just wondering if most of you buy your own discs and pads and then go to a garage to have them fitted or do you go straight to a garage? I want to upgrade at some point but am worried about the cost, as I remember when I went to Honda for standard discs and pads for front they wanted close to 300 pounds just for the front! Thanks for any help

i buy my own and fit them myself, its easy to do them.  the only thing i wont do is bleeding of the brakes, i leave that to a local garage

discs and pads are simple to replace if you have the right tools....never pay a stealer to do them

I always buy and fit mine myself. Saves a sweet fortune

Buy and fit them my self

How did you guys learn to fit them yourself? Thanks

Im a qualified mechanic  :happy2: kinda helps

But with a haynes manual and a good tool set, youll have no problems.

Disks are really easy to do. Pads are normally even easier, but can be a pain if the old ones have worn a lot so the pistons stick out too much. Still a diy job if you have some time and the right tools.
