Title: BMW Specialists - Northamptonshire
Post by: rdfcpete on March 05, 2011, 07:50:23 pm
Chaps,

A mate of mine that's just bought an E90 330D is looking for a BMW specialist in the Midlands/East Anglia area. He's Northants based like myself and refuses to deal with the arrogance and incompetence of the local BMW dealers here, after two fairly nasty experiences with two dealers in particular  :fighting:

I've previously used Elite Motor Tune in Northampton who are very good and do anything German. I've pointed him their way but he wants to obviously widen his scope.

Aside this lot, are there any trusted specialists that understand and look after the likes of the 3 series well?

Thanks.

Probably too specific, thus asking too much there chaps.

How about just the Midlands?
Ta.

Dude, get him to drive 45 mins south to Luton.

Evolve. I've used these guys, everyone raves about them.  :happy2:

Thanks Chris  :drinking:

Do you take the M3 there?
That's probably as high a recommendation as I could realistically have from this forum.

My mate is only in Northampton so if they're excellent, it's worth the drive for bigger jobs/unexpected problems for him.

Yeah I had my M3 remapped there a couple of weeks ago! I haven't used them for anything else, but the feedback they have on various BMW forums is excellent.

Super mate. Thank you  :drinking:

Is it the kind of place you'd have the trickier jobs done at, cam belt, timing belts/pullys, clutch change etc?
I also couldn't find him a decent UK 3 series forum. Is that a known problem?
