Title: RCD500 vs RCD310
Post by: johnhol78 on March 06, 2011, 12:11:09 pm: Out of curiousity does the RCD310 have a better amplifier than the RCD500?

I have the RCD500 and don't use the CD at all as I connect it with my iPhone or listen to the radio.

I also have the soundpack - so would the 310 sound better? They seem to go for the same price on eBay so don't have to annoy the wife and risk a divorce after all the detailing kit I've bought.

Problem is Alex you after over twice what the RCD310 goes for and the amp on the 310 is a better ones than the MFD2.

Would love a Sat Nav but will stick with Navigon on my iPhone

That's what I mean...are the plugs the same? Few people nearby have Vagcom so coding shouldn't be an issue thogh if won't work with soundpack then I'm stuck with the RCD500 :confused:
