Looks horrible in that black and orange colour scheme. The blue carbon looks good

I actually agree with you!!!

exactly, as a feat of engineering  :congrats:

but its a pointless supercar

but whats the point of owning one? you'll never get to drive it the way its designed to be driven, and even if you think i lie i speaketh the truth as the cost to repair something like that wouldnt warrant the risk of go anywhere in it for fear of damage, and if you did drive it at speed you'd always be worried about crashing it so never truely enjoy it

you would only ever go out in it or own one to impress other men, men who know its stats, that you know couldnt afford it, bragging rights

no woman is ever gunna give a sh1t about it, thats if they even knew what it was! all they would care about is if its comfortable, do they look good in it, can they get out of it and can you pose in it - cue an R8, ferrari, porka, lambo which would do more of a job

the veyron should have been a one off for us all to applaud

the fact that owners/men covert it means your either:

1. gay and trying to impress other men
2. rich and trying to impress other men
3. stupid and trying to impress other men
4. have a small penis

 :popcornsoda:

edit: forgot to add:

5. enjoy victorian fireplaces and trying to impress other men

You can get lady petrolheads, Sabine Schmidt (is that the right surname, close enough!), VBH, Jodie Kidd etc. Wouldn't want to shag any of them personally, but if it was a choice between any of them or a fella...

Don't like them. Would I have one given to me, hell yeah!

Now, the serious subject...

Sabine - Yes, although I suspect she's got a funky 80's german fanny that looks like a barber's bin.
VBH - Yes, but only if she was gagged for the duration.
Jodie Kidd - Yes, although I doubt standie-uppies would be on the cards, even at my 6" height.

LOL. Probably another 2 of those keeping her armpits warm, too!

thats my point, theres more women who like a supercar for its materialistic attraction than for its performance merits so why limit your choice?

not that most of us will ever own a super/hypercar

you keep your german growlers, and i'll roll with the brainless glamour models that want to flash their shaven haven whilst getting out of my R8 spyder  :pomppomp:

...reminds me, i must buy my lottery for wednesday

All the brainless glamour models want to go out with footballists, so you'll have to buy a house near the Chelsea ground to go with the R8!

It's a great car, there's no point in saying "you'll never do that speed" because when will you do 150 in a GTI on a public road? It's just knowing that it can go 268 mph. You can't compare it to other cars, it really isn't like any other car ever built. If you take the figures and speeds it can do, they are nowhere near any normal car, the price and servicing costs reflect this. Somebody who can afford this car will have other cars, so practicality is not important. As for the styling, function over form! It's an engineering marvel and is one of the best cars in the world.

what makes it the best?

at achieving the figures on paper, yes. its technically a marvel... until someone creates the next one

thats all though

its not the best in the looks department

its not the best at carrying a scaffold plank home from B&Q

its not the best at holding 4+ people in comfort

for a car to be the best it has to be good at a multitude of things, not just technically imho

sure if you owned a fleet of cars and you were thoroughly minted and it was merely part of a collection then sure...... but its at that point you can refer to my list of 5  :P

Never at any point did I expect the words 'German Fanny' and 'Victorian Fireplace' to be used in this thread..  :signLOL:

Does that mean the Skoda Yeti is better than a Buggati Veyron SS as well then?

Put it this way:

If i won the Euro Millions triple roll over then this car would be on my list to have, not the first but it would be on there.

yeti is a good car, would own one though just because its good... its missing the "wow" or at the very least the "mmmmm"

just a box full of compromise and achievement set to a great pricetag

She's got a pair of t1ts like two wombles looking over a balcony

Truly stunning piece of over engineered lovelyness but it needs a make over!
