Title: bit of a odd 1 (wing mirror glass)
Post by: gillm on March 07, 2011, 06:24:55 pm: just moved the car of the drive and looked in the mirror and could not see anything . took a closer look to see the glass was missing , but the black backing was there . and it still heats up . is a case of just buying a glass ? or do i need a heated one ?

The heating element is part of the glass, so youll have to replace the whole heated glass panel.

pretty sure its the whole bit you need to get., its true for the Rocco anyway, the Rocco ones are £45 each, if you have dimming glass its nearly £300 !!!

Post by: sparky54 on March 08, 2011, 09:43:35 pm: Just buy the new glass from ebay,just stuk mine back on after it fell off on my drive,just a quick note dont leave your mirror on heated turn it to left or right so it does not heat up all the time.
