Hi clayed the car for the first time at the weekend, cant believe the differance, such a great product.
Is it safe to do regular, because i think im hooked.
-
It does do a great job of removing bonded contamination.
As long as you have protected the paint with wax or a sealant you probably don't need to clay it for another 6 months.
Even careful claying with plenty of lube and a mild clay can leave some marring so best no to over do it.
-
As above. Claying doesn't need to be done more than twice a year. You would gain no benefit but risk likelihood of marring. I'd follow any claying session with a polish. Use adequate lubrication - bilt hamber clays use water as lube. Personally prefer the dodo juice stuff.
And finally, protect your finish with a wax or sealant.
-
My current fave clay is dodo juice gentle grey with meguiars last touch diluted 1-1 with water as lube.
Meguiars own mild clay is not bad at all, same goes for autoglym clay.
Dont like the poly clay much personally though.

Thanks for letting us know, il leave it till the summer, just for the record it was a megs bar and used the autoglym lube.

autoglym lube is their quick detial IIRC, if you've finished that get some meguiars last touch as I said pal, works out much cheaper and can use it for other stuff!
