Title: 3D rear badge

i have lost or had stolen the silver of the 3d badge, i still have all the mechanism etc but missing the vw part

does anyone know where i could find one?

if it is i will just order one of these it seems look like it is

Don't believe you can buy the 3d part separate from VW but i am aware that if you separate a mk4 golf rear badge from it backing it will fit a mk5, Not perfect but don't think anyone would ever notice.

P.S. that link is just a mk4 black badge marketed as a mk5 badge to rip people off, I know this as i fell for it.

cheers did this one not fit then as this would be the same as the peeled off mk4 badge no?

is there much difference between the two?

Is does fit but advertised as a fit to a MK5 which it is not, need to cut all the tabs off the back of the badge and remove the plastic part behind, Then will need glueing/bonding on the handle.

Only major difference when it attached is it leaves a bit of a gap round the outside of the badge but cant be seen once the handle is in the closed position.

Black Badge is only about £15 from VW.

is that the mk4 black badge? do you have any of the picks from when u had the mk4 one fitted?

Yeah MK4 black badge.

Havent actually fitted it to mine yet mate but my mate has done it to his mk5, will try and get a picture when I next see him next.
