Currently:
Well it's been a long while since I've updated. Done a few bits, had cruise control fitted. It's one of my fav mods, brilliant for munching up the motorway miles.

Got an edition 30 Gti rear bumper from fleabay, Votex roof spoiler from ECS tuning and Gti side skirts from VW, Milltek cat back from www.alloy-wheels.ie, great service as always from Keith and the lads

Upgraded Osram night breakers plus in dips and mains, Philips blue vision in the parks (greatest pain in the hole to fit, got skinned fingers and developed a touch of tourettes), LED's in rear numberplate

Also bought a golf ball gear shifter but haven't fitted it yet, bloody customs still have it.

Here are the pic's, what ye think? I'm hoping to drop it a bit and put on a set of 18's this year, might get a set of 15mm spacers at least for the back, ET is really high in the classix. Saying that, I got engaged two weeks ago, so saving for a wedding. My next update will probably be this time next year again :confused:

x2 , great alterations and agree abut some R32/ed30 rear clusters that will suit the car and its mods better :happy2:

Post by: tonto83 on March 10, 2011, 05:13:27 pm: Thanks for the comments guys. Yes the r32/ed 30 tail lights are definately in the pipeline, the existing ones look very pink on a sunny day.

Only thing that is bothering me at the moment is the high off set of the classix, especially in the rear, seems to be even more obvious with the ed 30 bumper. Going to get the Milltek adjusted next week and pick up a set of H&R 15mm spacers. That should help a little, might get a set of 10mm for the front.

Need to drop the height of it a little though, thinking Eibach springs, only want to drop it 30mm max, roads around my home town are like something from war torn Bagdad. Lots of guys have Eibach springs on their mkv's on here and find them really good. That'll be a couple of months away anyways, so i'll decide then

Found ECS Tuning quick to deal with, delivery is expensive though. Total price of spoiler including delivery and import tax was 125 euro
