Title: MFD2 Nav operation

Done a search and couldn;t fidn the answer to this...

Does the MFD2 have to have the disc in to actually use the Nav? Got the impression from other threads it does but that is just  :rolleye:

Will certainly help me decide my next HU......no RNS510 as they are too much for the wife to cope with  :sad1:

Yes - the NAV disc has to be inserted to use the navigation

If you are wanting to listen to CDs too, just use a CD changer as that resolves that issue.
