You need VCDS and have a 30 byte CECM fitted.

Older cars won't have one but the later MK5's MIGHT but you will probably need to retro fit it as I did in my 2005 car.

I tried to activate this on a mates 09 caddy but it just wouldn't work
spoke to Ed and he said its probably because it doesn't have a steering angle sensor!!!

I'd be very surprised if the caddy didn't have a steering angle sensor.

I don't know Scott to be honest.  It might be a variation in controllers.

http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,140.0.html

the reason for saying the caddy doesn't is due to it not having ESP. It has a mk70 with ASR
The coding option was there in the Highend 30 byte CECM and was enabled by Scott.
With nothing happening when turning the steering wheel. On my car depending on how far you turn the steering wheel varies the light intensity.

Next time Scott goes there I will tell him to look at the Long coding for the CAN-gateway and MVB blocks for the steering agle sensor if fitted

As I said the Caddy doesn't have an alarm, so it can't use the alarm horn
