Title: Caliper spruce up
Post by: Gtiain on March 13, 2011, 10:15:42 pm
Want to give my calipers a coat because they've faded a little bit. Can anyone recommend some paint? Cheers.

I don't know if this was posted in the right section!

I believe halfrauds do a specific caliber paint that's heat resistant etc. Don't think it was too pricey either so might be worth a try.

If I were you I'd try some polish and wax first!

Alloys off, and get in there with the tooth brush, and you might just surprise yourself, how the paint is in better condition then you think.

.
If you don't have a spare toothbrush and really want to paint them then use Savage Brake Caliper Paint Kit - It's made specifically for the job.

Handy tip..

Wheel off and rub (no brushes) with fairly liquid, brought many a fahooked caliper back to life with that one.......
