Title: Quick navigation question
Post by: Gtiain on March 16, 2011, 12:27:31 pm
I dont have a manual for my rns so can anybody shed any light on this? When you enter your destination the rns gives you three route options, red, blue and yellow I think. What do these different routes stand for? Cheers.

They are just three different option routes I dont think they are always the same colour (unless Im missing a trick) as the options on my standard routes always change.  In general though they use the 3 different route options fastest shortest and most economic.

Also you can tell the unit to just give one route option and that will be your default in the route option as above.

Right I see, I don't know anything like this so maybe should try and find an online version of the manual. Cheers.  :happy2:

Someone did host up a pdf of the manual scanned in. Might be worth doing a search for it.

Alternatively you can buy just the manual but it'll be around £30 from the dealers.

I paid £16 for the newest version of the manual for the LED version with star button
It no longer has holes to put in the vehicle wallet, and is nearly 4 times thicker
