Hi,
My Ed30 is a 57 plate and has done 60k... I know the book says the cambelt should be changed at 100k but do you recommend it should be done soon?

4 years or 60k which ever comes first mate
edit put 80 , meant 60.

I think most say 60k or 4 years whatever comes sooner.

Mine was done at 63k and the belt looked new still  ie no marks or any signs of wear

Thanks guys, basically what I thought. :happy2:

By the way, is around £300 the going rate for having the cambelt and water pump changed?
-
299 cambelt
99 waterpump
they price match anyone within 5miles who use vw parts
